Unlimited Continuous Data — Important Details
All 3 of the plans include unlimited continuous data, but the amount of data available at 5G speed depends on the plan.
Our transparency policy: We do not want you to have to search down a rabbit hole of hidden details to understand your plan, your data level, or your speeds- as is too often the case with too many other companies’ plans.
- On all 3 of the plans, your data is not cut off when you reach your plan’s predefined 5G data level. You are not forced to wait until the next month to have data again, which can happen with plans from other companies.
- Smart One and Smart Five Plans: after the plan’s 5G data level is reached, unlimited continuous cellular data still continues, but at a possibly reduced speed of .256 Mbps min. which may not support HD streaming but does support continuous app use, browsing, and similar use- suitable for unlimited continuous non-5G speed streaming and other non-streaming applications.
- Premium Unlimited Plan: after 35 GB, unlimited data continues at a possibly reduced 4G speed min. which typically ranges from 10 to 50 Mbps and supports continuous HD streaming speed even after the drop.
This is huge: not all “unlimited” plans are created equal.
Some companies either cut data off completely until the next month starts or drop speeds as low as .128 Mbps or even lower, which does not support HD streaming after the drop- which may be hidden in the fine print, deep in the details, or somehow otherwise unclear.
We do not think that deserves to be called “unlimited” when HD streaming speeds are not supported.
So, do not be fooled by “unlimited” plans that do not support unlimited HD streaming speed after their 5G limit is reached. In our Plans section, notice the unlimited plan is called “Premium Unlimited” for a good reason- meaning it excels over average plans and you actually get what you pay for when it comes to unlimited HD streaming speed.

The Smart One Plan is for someone who:
- Wants to reduce cellular data costs to the minimum.
- Uses WiFi at home, office, school, or elsewhere, so 1 GB is enough — at least to start.
- Wants the flexibility to switch plans anytime, on-the-fly if more data is needed monthly or temporarily.
- Wants simple plan switching, with the ability to switch back quickly and only pay for prorated usage.
- Is essentially anyone trying to avoid unnecessary data costs, including phones for children, teens, seniors, or anyone else.
The Smart One Plan is only $7.99/month paid monthly.
Optional annual billing is $6.39/month billed annually. This paid-annually option includes a 20% discount for those who want to save even more by receiving the equivalent of more than 2 months free — actually 2.4 months — worth of free monthly billing each 12 months.
What is included?
- Unlimited talk and unlimited text to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
- 1 GB of 5G cellular data — enough to supplement normal use of primarily WiFi.

Optional annual billing is $31.99/month billed annually. This paid-annually option includes a 20% discount for those who want to save even more by receiving the equivalent of more than 2 months free — actually 2.4 months — worth of free monthly billing each 12 months.
What is included?
- Unlimited talk and unlimited text to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
- Unlimited cellular data that supports HD streaming speeds.
- After 35 GB of 5G data, speed may reduce to 4G min., which typically ranges from 10 to 50 Mbps and supports HD streaming.
- Always supports continuous unlimited HD streaming speeds.

Is It Easy to Switch?

Yes.
Select the plan that works best for you and simply follow the Easy ABCD Checklist in the Activation Guide for the easiest activation.
Activation is completely online, at your convenience.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes. This is called porting, and it is very simple.
Your old carrier stays active until the switch completes, so you will not lose service. We guide you through the process in the Activation Guide.
Do I need a new phone?
We doubt you do.
It is rare for a phone not to work, as long as it is unlocked.
Will I lose my contacts, photos, and text messages?
Nope.
Back up your phone before switching to be safe, but everything on your phone should stay the same when you transfer over. Your contacts, photos, and texts stay right where they are.
Note: Voicemails from your old carrier will not automatically transfer, so save any important ones before you switch.

Plans start at $6.39/month average (paid annually) or $7.99/month paid monthly, with options from 1 GB of 5G data to Unlimited HD streaming speeds.
All plans include unlimited talk & text- and continuous unlimited data.

Can I change my plan?
Yes. Month-to-month freedom means you can change your plan anytime.
- Need more data this month? Add it on-the-fly anytime.
- Need less next month? Change it.
- Change as many times as you want during the month and benefit from the prorated difference.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime. You are in control.
No long-term commitment — just mobile service that works for you.
How much data do I really need?
The truth is that you probably do not know for sure, because data needs can change month to month.
The good news is that as you use more WiFi instead of cellular data when you can, you will likely also be using the plan-switching flexibility to learn and decide that answer for yourself- and using as-low-a-priced plan as possible for your preferences and needs.

How does billing work?
All plans are month-to-month and paid in advance- unless you prefer the extra saving of the optional annual payment.
When you sign up, no matter the day of the month, you are charged a full monthly payment. On your next month’s bill, you will be prorated the amount.
Example: If you sign up on the 15th of the month for a $7.99 plan, you will be charged that amount. However, the following month you would receive a credit for 14 days of service and only be charged the remaining prorated amount. After that, payment happens on the 1st of every month.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards, debit cards, and ACH payments are accepted.
Autopay is required for all plans- which helps assure smooth continuous uninterrupted service by avoiding inconvenient unintended lapses in service- (and, frankly, to reduce operational expenses, which allows savings and the resulting lower prices to be passed on to you).
